With over ten million people already owning a Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung has forged ahead with its next step for global domination – the amazing Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE. Although it’s not blessed with the catchiest of names, and looks pretty identical to the outgoing S II, the Galaxy S II HD LTE features an outstanding specification that’s sure to get gadget lovers dribbling!

Samsung announced two new Galaxy smartphones today – the Galaxy S II LTE and the Galaxy S II HD LTE. It’s the HD LTE model we’re the most interested in, as it features the most impressive spec yet.

The screen is the Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE’s party piece, and the big 4.65-inch display crams in a staggering 1280×720 pixels! A similar resolution to many laptops, in a much smaller panel, it promises to be the most impressive smartphone screen currently available.

As with other Samsung Galaxy S models, the South Korean has used Super AMOLED technology, so you can expect stunning colours and a glorious platform on which to watch movies. The Galaxy S II LTE gets a smaller 4.5-inch screen.

At the heart of both smartphones is a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, keeping things ticking at high speeds. Other features include 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and NFC connectivity. There’s also an 8-megapixel camera and 16GB of onboard storage.
