Starting in 2012, the shape of mobile phones could be about to change forever. From next year Samsung hopes to produce mobile phones with flexible displays. It might sound like fantasy, but flexible displays are closer than one might imagine.

The Nokia Lumia 800 may have been the star of the show yesterday at Nokia World, but Windows Phone handsets weren’t the only phones on display. Nokia also showed off the new Asha range, with the Nokia Asha 303 looking like particularly good value for money.

It happened today in London at Nokia World, The Nokia Lumia 800 hits the market with a N9 look about it. Its pretty hot and contains a good set of specs additionally.

Hang on! Lumia 710 is joining the new Nokia Windows Phone 7 line-up

The Nokia Lumia 800 was not the only Windows Phone 7 to be announced at Nokia World (a big conference where Nokia basically make product announcements) because added to the line-up was the Nokia Lumia 710. This one offers a cheaper Mango alternative.

Porsche Design are the manufacturer behind the glitz and glamour of the modified BlackBerry 9980 among other products such as mobiles, pens, household appliances and watches. As with other Porsche Design products expect an ‘angular design’ and use of ‘high quality materials’ plus a pricy price to match.

The Leica D-Lux 5 has been on the market for a little while, and to spice things up high-end camera manufacturer Leica has released the D-Lux 5 Titanium edition. Finished in a new anodised dark silver colour, it looks fantastic, and also comes with a special edition case.

Apple adding movie streaming to iCloud

iCloud has only just launched as part of iOS 5 but Apple may already be trying to extend its functionality by adding movie streaming. The Wall Street Journal and the LA Times are both reporting rumours that Apple is negotiating with Hollywood studios to license films for streaming from iCloud.

On Monday RIM, the company behind BlackBerry suffered an unexplained glitch which cut off many BlackBerry services in four continents including Europe and Africa. Plus, it has now horribly spread to the US.

An iPod Touch was designed for many reasons, one was so users could have a sneak peek of what big brother  (iPhone) actually holds. It gives you a front and rear camera, access to the app store, a media player obviously and games. Its acts as an ‘inbetweener’ between a tablet and smartphone. Now, Samsung are to enter the competition with the Galaxy S W-Fi.
