The Apple iPhone 5 is finally on its way! There have been hundreds of rumours so far, but now the launch invites have been sent out, and the wait is very nearly over. As already suggested, Apple is holding its next press event on the 4th October – join us after the break to find out more.
Apple often sends out cryptic emails, leaving us wondering exactly what’s coming up, and whether we’ll be seeing any next-generation hardware or whether the company just has software updates on offer.
There’s no such ambiguity about the latest press invite, however, which tells us everything we need to know. It features the key words “Let’s talk iPhone”, for a start, so we know full well that the iPhone 5 is indeed on its way.
The invite also shows the date – the 4th October, the time – 6pm, and the location of the press event. With just six days to go, we’ll be bringing you full coverage of the new handset as soon as it’s launched!
