Windows Phone Mango heads to the UK on the 15th September 2011?

Rumours have pointed to a 15th September UK launch date for Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 update.

This is what the developers said in a Windows Phone Dev Podcast:

"Next week is going to be a big week for Windows Phone. We have been told by various sources that Mango will be dropping, and the final tools will be dropping for developers. So that would be interesting and something to look forward to."

Hmm…

Back in July now manufactures got the chance to check out the new OS from Microsoft  which promises to bring a ‘better social media integration’ and a brand new ‘try before you' buy’ option in the Marketplace.

So lets get back to the release date, if the rumours do pan out to be true expect it to be available on all Windows Phone 7 handsets this week. However, here’s the not so good bit because even though its officially been launched it still may mean a little bit more of a wait before it actually arrives on your network. Hmm, hopefully not too long!
