Nokia N9 hits Mexico, still no UK release!

imageWe already know that Nokia won’t officially be bringing its most impressive smartphone to date – the Nokia N9 – to the UK, US and most of Europe. However, the Finnish company continues to launch the Nokia N9 in unusual countries.

Mexico is the latest to get the new MeeGo-based handset, and customers are in for a treat. With the best screen we’ve seen so far on a Nokia, along with the most intuitive and responsive operating system, we’re jealous and sad that Nokia won’t reconsider its stance.

Sure, you’ll still be able to buy the handset unofficially through resellers like Expansys, but it’ll come at a steep price and without the support or thousands of apps we were initially hoping for.

The fact the N9 will hit the shops in Mexico will also make it easier for US fans to get their hands on one – something that’s worth doing if you don’t mind having an OS with fewer apps and less development.
