  • A 5-inch qHD display.
  • 2GB of RAM.
  • 4G and loads more.
  • Price and release date is currently unknown.

The HTC J Butterfly arrival has been announced in Japan. The smartphone arrives with a high-res 5-inch display on hand.

The first of the series, HTC J launched earlier this year in Japan coming with a 4.3-inch qHD display, this one brings improvements sporting a Super LCD 3, 5-inch display with a 1080p res.

The 440ppi display knocks down the Apple iPhone 5 in one shot.

Not just a big screen

On top of the exciting screen the HTC J Butterfly will also come with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. On the back you will find an 8Mp camera and the ability to record 1080p video when out and about. There is also a front facing camera built in though sporting a 2.1Mp sensor. On top of all that tech, the HTC J Butterfly will come with support for Bluetooth 4.0, 4G support and a microSD card slot.

Of course though with all of these hot features this will surely put a spanner in the works for the battery life.

The release date for both the UK and US is currently unknown. Watch this space for more.
