Samsung today have revealed their brand new range of Windows Phone 7 Mango smartphones. The beauties are called the Samsung Focus S and the Focus Flash. Plus, on top of that the company have also said that a WP7.5 (Windows Phone 7.5) update for older models is queued for later this autumn.

Right lets get on with the juicy bits:

The Samsung Focus S

With this smartphone expect an super AMOLED 4.3-inch screen carrying a 1.4GHz processor and a slim design of 8.55mm. On the back the smartphone carries an 8Mp popper plus a 1.3Mp sensor on the front to video call your friend. In addition to that, the smartphone runs Windows Phone 7.5 or as we know it as good old Windows Phone Mango.

Samsung Focus Flash

This one comes tacked with a 3.7 super AMOLED screen and similarly a 1.4GHz processor.

We’ve got a 5Mp camera on the rear plus an ‘un-specced’ front facing camera  likely to be something like a VGA one if going by reports.

The two nearly ready to  join the Samsung Omnia 7 and the the WP7.5 update is coming out in the US during  ‘the fourth quarter.’

What’s my view?

Well first off they’re not bad smartphones at all. If you’ve got money to spare I would go for the Focus S for that extra bit more but if you’re on a budget the Focus Flash should satisfy your needs just fine. The specs on the two are hot carrying a super AMOLED screens and 1.4GHz processors to make your phone run just that bit faster.
