Motorola RAZR Maxx Android phone on sale May

Motorola RAZR Maxx Android phone on sale May

Motorola has confirmed that its Motorola RAZR Maxx Android phone will be arriving in stores from the middle of May. Motorola has recently had much of its limelight snatched away by the likes of Samsung and HTC, but the dual-core Android smartphone shows signs that it could hold its own.

A number of online stores are already taking pre-orders for the Motorola RAZR Maxx. It’s already available to pre-order from Expansys, Amazon and other online vendors.

The latest Moto’ handset will not arrive packing the latest Android 4.0 operating system. Out of the box the Motorola RAZR Maxx will come with the more aged Gingerbread interface. The good news is that Motorola has confirmed that it will be updating the device to the newest Android 4.0 operating system in the second quarter, 2012.

The Motorola RAZR Maxx is a fast handset with impressive-sounding all-round features. It has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, 8-megapixel camera, and internal storage out from the box of 16GB, expandable up to 32GB when using a memory card, and a generous talk time said to be up to 21.5 hours in total.

The absence of Android 4.0 at launch is unfortunate, and could see potential owners swayed by the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3, also launching next month with Android 4.0 from the off.
