Sony has unveiled two new music systems to dock your iPod, iPhone or iPad into. The Sony CMT-V75BTiP and the CMT-V50iP are two stylish Hi-Fi systems that use Magnetic Fluid to eliminate sound distortion. and provide the kind of crystal clear sounds our ears yearn for. If you don’t own an Apple gadget, both systems have a CD player and a USB port, too.

The Sony CMT-V75BTiP and CMT-V50iP systems have just been unveiled as stylish devices for the bedroom or living room. Both work just like a multitude of iOS docking systems before them: letting you listen to your iOS-based music collection through them.

Only these two systems use what Sony calls “the world’s first Magnetic Fluid technology”. The result, says Sony, is crystal clear sound reproduction. Because the speakers are damperless there is less distortion.

Bluetooth connectivity lets you stream your tunes wirelessly from your iOS, Android and other Bluetooth devices. The Sony CMT-V75BTiP and CMT-V50iP also include DAB and DAB+ radio and a CD player, so you could just as easily use either system as your bedside wake-up call or kitchen radio.

For other sound sources the CMT-V50iP lets you plug in a USB so you can play music from a memory stick, mobile phones and other MP3 players using a USB cable.

Sony has yet to reveal the price or date of release for either model, However both the Sony CMT-V75BTiP and CMT-V50iP are expected to swing by soon.
