Pure Twilight: dawn simulating radio now phone and Kindle-friendly

Pure Twilight: dawn simulating radio now phone and Kindle-friendly

Pure Twilight, the world’s first radio to help you wake up by simulating the effects of sunrise now comes with a free charging kit for your smartphone and Amazon Kindle to power up your phone, using the Pure Twilight’s PowerPort at the back to keep your kit juiced up. More details on that, and more light shed on this world first this way.

The charger kit makes use of the Pure Twilight’s built-in PowerPort to ensure that by come morning your gadgets will be charged in quick time ready for the morning. It comes with cables for smartphones with mini and micro USB connectors for compatibility with a wide range of manufacturers smartphones.

The Pure Twilight’s PowerPort will charge up an iPhone as well, but you’ll need to purchase the standard Apple cable separately to do so.

The Pure Twilight (on sale now for around £140) is the first digital radio to use light therapy to help you wake up. It does so using mood lighting using colours orange, pink, purple, blue, green and white, built-in natural sounds and lullabies. Other Pure Twilight features include a reading light and four independent alarms (why you need four, we’re not sure).

With the summer nearing full swing dark mornings are now a thing of the past, so hopefully gadget fans won’t be in need of too much light therapy, however, heavy sleepers apply within.
