Time for today’s post from elsewhere handpicked by me.

Samsung WB100 16-Megapixel bridge camera that won’t throw a wobbly

Samsung has added another bridge camera to its ranks in the form of the Samsung WB100. Designed with budding photo enthusiasts in mind, this 16-megapixel sensor camera comes with 26x optical zoom lens to help you get closer to the action. More WB100 details this way.

For those looking to upgrade from your digital compact camera, theWB100 could be one to watch. It has enough features on board for the budding camera enthusiast to play with, without being too intimidating.

Its large 16-megapixel sensor should deliver detailed shots when zooming in on photos, while Samsung’s Dual Image Stabilisation skills are bound to decrease the chances of ever taking a bad shot.

The Samsung WB100 will also shoot high definition video. Video is at a 720p resolution at 30 frames-per-second, so while it’s not full HD, it might be close enough for some. There’s also a 3D photo mode, and a Live Panorama Mode to fiddle about with, and preview on the The WB100’s 3-inch LCD viewer.

The Samsung WB100 will be available in black or red colours. Samsung has yet to confirm a date or price, but it shouldn’t be too steep.
