Microsoft Surface Tablet gets itself a price-tag

Microsoft Surface price revealed by Swedish retailer

A Swedish online retailer has revealed that the price of Microsoft’s tablet crossover will cost £650 minimum. Now this is just a rumour at the moment – I for one definitely hope the price will drop and if Microsoft want to compete against Apple and Google the price better get knocked down!

The website, Webhallen.com explains that pricing will start at hefty £650 (around $1,000) for the 32GB version and will rise up to £1,389 ($2,100) for the 128GB Windows Pro edition. Expensive!

This a rumour and the price may drop and hopefully not increase but if Microsoft want to beat Apple and Google they better think about dropping this price tag!

Last month news was that the Surface tablet would start off at £380 ($599) and shift up to £640 ($999) for the top model. This is still pretty expensive especially for the 128GB edition however a little cheaper for the 32GB version (yes!)

How much do you think the Microsoft Surface Tablet should cost? Let us know in ‘Comments’.
