Nike is keeping an eye on your fitness again with Nike+ Training and Basketball iPhone apps

Nike+ Training and Nike+ Basketball iPhone apps pair up with stat-tracking shoes

Nike is not getting bored and is continuing to monitor your fitness with some brand new Nike+ Training and Basketball iPhone apps. Buy the Nike Lunar trainers and track your fitness. The shoe manufacturing company have also released a Basketball app letting you measure just how high that slam dunk goes.

The tech works just like the Nike+ system which runners currently use.

The two apps are free and let you track your fitness levels through your shoe. The built in sensors measure and transfer performance stats to your iPhone or another iOS device.

Also, are you finding it hard to set yourself a workout? Nike have it covered with featured workouts on the Nike+ Training app.

The Basketball app on the other hand delivers real-time fitness information to your iOS device. It measures your slam dunk through delivering information of the speed of the user and then lets you share your win over on Facebook.

Both are made to work with the Nike LunarGlide+ trainers for £100, or the Lunar TR1 training shoes priced at £180 with an inclusive Sport Pack. Those who are into the Basketball game will want to check-out the new Nike Hyperdunk+ and the Sport Pack for £190 available from the Nike official website and various retail stores.

What are your views? Are you happy with this tracking technology built into your trainers? Let me know in ‘Comments’.
