Pure has announced news of a new portable and personal DAB radio claiming to offer users 14 hours of digital radio per charge.

Do you all remember the previous successor, the Pocket DAB 1500? Well if you liked that one you are will also love this one with improved audio quality and new equaliser settings giving users a chance to tweak those levels.

Built into the Pure Move 2500 is DAB+ giving you the chance to tune into digital radio stations in only countries that transmit DAB+. Also, Pure have given FM a thought as well with “silicon-tipped noise isolating ear phones” which effectively act as a radio antenna.

The Move 2500 UK release date is tomorrow, oh yes the 3rd August coming in with a price tag of £89.99.

What’s my view?

It doesn’t sound too bad, a little ugly but I’m sure we can get over that. One thing that does come to mind is, what if you want to plug in some external speakers? Having done some research Pure says that they have some dedicated ones and more accessories on the way. Apart from that all good.
