Acer are to launch a smartphone or shall I say tablet next month featuring a Snapdragon processor and running on Android’s Gingerbread OS. The screen is massive measuring 4.8 inches which certainly takes on Dell’s Streak due to the screen size.
Its set to hits Europe at the price of €499 in September.
What’s my view?
Hmm, is it simply too big for a smartphone? Yes, this can work if Acer can offer a slim design but with a big screen just like Samsung have achieved with the Galaxy S2 then we may be onto something.
