Today, I’m bringing you a BlackBerry overdose with the announcement of one new BlackBerry Bold and two new BlackBerry Torch models on the way, where do I start?
All three of the new and upcoming smartphones will all run on the new BlackBerry OS7 and contain powerful specs to take on them all including the popular Samsung Galaxy S2.
Lets start with the BB Torch 9860 to feature a huge 3.8 inch touchscreen and come loaded with a 1.2GHz processor. Also, 4GB of memory is built in ready to be expanded up to 32GB with the extra purchase of a microSD card. Next, the appearance. News is that the 9860 will be super thin measuring just 11.5mm. Its queued up to be one of BlackBerry’s thinnest smartphones ever.
Furthermore, The BB Torch 9810 isn’t bad either coming with a 3.2 inch touchscreen and also a 1.2GHz processor.
Finally, do you like big keyboards? Maybe you have larger fingers than others, just a suggestion. If so BlackBerry are giving you the Bold 9930 as an alternative. It contains the largest keyboard of the three plus a touchscreen.
In terms of releases they will all be on offer later this month.
What’s my view?
Well they all sound good but whether they can beat the big shots like Apple and Android is yet another worry.
