Featured: The Nokia 600, 700 and 701 in full

Nokia has launched the new and latest Symbian OS, Belle designed to be keypad free plus a whole load of new features. Along with the new OS comes three new touchscreen smartphones. Here’s a little about them all:

The Nokia 600

imageThis is your one stop entertainer bringing you an extra loud speaker, a 1GHz processor, a 3.2 inch HD touchscreen, a 5Mp camera, a weight of just 100g and a range of colours including black, lime, pink or white.

The Nokia 700

imageThis could be the world’s smallest ever smartphone measuring just 110x50.7x9.7mm and bringing a weight of 96g to your hands. It comes with a 3.2 inch ClearBlack AMOLED touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass, a 1GHz processor, a 5Mp camera with an LED flash thrown in. Plus, built in NFC technology (Near-Field Communications) allowing you to pay for items without a swipe of a card. Buy it in cool grey, coral red, peacock blue, purple and silver/white.

The Nokia 701

imageOn this handset the screen gets bigger, up to 3.5 inches. It also comes with ClearBlack AMOLED display and similarly a screen protected by Gorilla Glass too. Plus, a 1GHz processor and 8Mp camera with dual- LED flash. Its available in steel dark, white, silver light and amethyst violet.

All three will become available next month however which UK networks will be offering them is still unknown.

What’s my view?

They’re all good smartphones and offer great features such as Gorilla Glass protected screens so you never need to worry about a scratch again, 1GHz processors to enjoy powerful games and NFC technology. I suppose we will now just have to wait and see.
