Another rugged phone from Samsung is on the way later this year. It is called the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2.
This phone takes over from its predecessor, Xcover. The new phone is as you’d expect dust proof, sand proof and water resistant.
There’s also an additional cover lock which helps you protect your smartphone from drops and nudges. For the underwater people, Samsung have also glued a waterproof camera onto the rear.
The specs
The tech includes a 4-inch WVGA screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5Mp snapper, VGA front facing camera, microSD card slot and a 1,700mAh battery.
It will also shoot onto the shelves with Android Jelly Bean in-tact.
Watch out for it at MWC 2013.
