Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is officially unveiled

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini after weeks of speculation has finally been unveiled by the South Korean company at an event in Germany.

The latest phone from Samsung will feature a 4-inch display, 480 x 800 Super AMOLED screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, front-facing VGA snapper, NFC, microSD card slot and a 1,500mAh battery.

Samsung has also explained that the Galaxy S3 Mini will not differ in terms of specs and is likely to ship with Android 4.1.

You will of course have more pocket space as well with this new phone measuring 121.55x63 x 9.85mm and bringing a weight of just 111.5g.

The release date and price is currently unknown however TechRadar suggest the pricing we can expect is between £220 - £270 with the specs taking on some of the likes of HTC One V, Nokia Lumia 710 and the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 to name a few.
