Xbox 360 New Xbox Experience dashbaord revamp exposed in video leak
Next month, Xbox 360 owners will be waking up to a new look dashboard, in a slick update releasing on November 15. But those who cannot wait till then, someone has posted what looks like a leaked video of the new-look homescreen in action. Is it what you expected? Read on to find out.

The current Xbox 360 dashboard is a welcome update to the very first homescreen Xbox 360 users had to make do with. It’s bright, bold and everything the first dashboard was not.

But as the console feature list grows, it’s getting harder to find what you want. Microsoft hopes the new look update will solve this problem, by giving its homescreen a complete facelift.

We won’t get to see it until next month, but leaked footage has already revealed what looks like a much more simplified menu interface with at-a-glance navigation, designed in mind with Microsoft Kinect.

Kinect owners will navigate from the homescreen in a sideways fashion at the swish of a hand, without having to dive into a dedicated Kinect hub.

And while it cannot be heard in the video, the new dashboard will take advantage of new voice commands. For example, saying “Xbox, Bing, Batman” will bring up a list of all Batman related content.
