We’ve been eagerly awaiting more news about the Sony PlayStation Vita ever since it’s launch a couple of months back, with the device set to hit the shops in Japan at the end of this year. Sony has now confirmed European launch dates – read on to find out more.
The Sony PS Vita has the potential to change the mobile gaming landscape, with more power and a better screen than we’ve ever seen before on a portable platform.
We won’t have to wait that much longer to find out just how good the PS Vita actually is, either, with the device set to hit the shops in the UK on February 22nd. It’s also set to hit the shops in the rest of Europe, and Australia, on the same date, while going on sale first in Japan on December 17th.
Prices have also been announced for the Sony PS Vita, costing £229.99 for the Wi-Fi model, and £279.99 if you want 3G. It retails for €249.99 and €299.99, respectively, in the rest of Europe.
At present, there are 80 games in the pipeline for the Sony PS Vita, so fingers crossed it gets the launch it deserves.
