Google have landed in the UK with a brand new film store nicely integrated into the Android Market allowing you buy/rent and download your favourite blockbusters then watch them all back on the move.

Over 1,000 titles are available so you’re certainly not limited for choice with prices starting at just £2.49 including new film Hanna.

Here’s how it works:

  • - Rent a film.
  • - You then have up to 30 days to view it from the day of purchase.
  • - Finally, once you have clicked that play button you then will have 48 hours in which to enjoy it in.

All that’s left to say is download the video app and get going!

Now it a statement from Sony on the PlayStation Certified project.

image

Sony’s Kaz Hirai, executive deputy president of Sony explained that the PlayStation Certified project is not just for Sony devices even though these are the only devices that are certified at the moment.

Currently the project supports their two tablets and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play.

Hirai insists though that over the coming months it will be working with other manufactures to make it much bigger and more accessible.

Here’s a snippet of the statement:

"It is not the case where we want to keep it in the Sony family, we are in discussions with non-Sony makers."

"This is not just for Sony devices."
