RIM, the brains behind BlackBerry has just unveiled two shiny new additions to the Bold and Curve series, 9790 and 9380.

Lets go from left to right with the BlackBerry Bold 9790, keeping in style with the original Bold brings a keyboard and a touchscreen claimed by RIM to be ‘highly responsive’. Plus, it comes with an optical trackpad as an alternative to the touchscreen.

Featured on this smartphone is the all new OS, BlackBerry 7 and on top of all of that the Bold 9790 will come with a 1GHz processor making using apps and browsing The Daily Tech Review’s mobile page a breeze.

You will find it comes with 8GB of internal memory with an expandable memory card slot supporting up to 32GB.

Moving on comes the BlackBerry Curve 9380. Its touchscreen, yes indeed! The smartphone will come with a 3.2-inch high res screen and bring with it various social networking apps such as BBM, Facebook and Twitter. Furthermore, packed in on the back is a 5Mp snapper this time with a flash.

Similar to the Bold 9790 this one will come running on BlackBerry 7. Additionally, the two will come with built-in support for Augmented Reality and the brand new NFC technology.

They’re both to be released on various networks in the forthcoming weeks. Are you up for one? I’m certainly tempted.
