Just shortly announced by Mozilla is a brand new search deal which sees themselves and Google stick together for another three years.
Recently, there was some worry that Google wouldn’t sign on the dotted line now having their own very successful browser called Chrome.
As we all know Mozilla is an open source browser gaining no financial support and relying on Google for income. Furthermore, if they didn’t have Google on side Mozilla would struggle to keep Firefox on the market.
This is the what Mozilla revealed on their blog:
"We're pleased to announce that we have negotiated a significant and mutually beneficial revenue agreement with Google. This new agreement extends our long term search relationship with Google for at least three additional years."
That calls for a celebration!
