A hacker group going by the name of Anonymous has stolen 2.7 million emails from the US Security Firm, Stratfor and have threatened to publish them all onto the Internet.

This supposedly took place on Christmas Eve and US Security Company, Startfor have said that they have now bought in an independent security associates to to build up a better security defence for their systems.

The company themselves are the ones who create analysis for banks, oil companies and subscribers.

In addition the group have sadly  published onto the World Wide Web some of the 2.7 million emails already. They also come back with a message reading:

"Just a small preview of the mayhem to come."

The Anonymous group have also already donated $150,000 to charity using the credit card details found in the emails. Among them include 10,000 current credit card numbers and  thousands of encrypted passwords.

This campaign appears to be associated with ‘antisec’, a group working with Anonymous who are there to start a hate campaign against the security firm. Furthermore, another name was used calling themselves "’Operation Robin Hood’.
