How do you fancy controlling your smartphone from your eyes?

This brand new piece of software, Senseye currently in development and could soon be coming to Android smartphones as early as 2012. The role of it is to put you in direct control of your phone without touching anything at all.

When reading text Senseye will automatically detect when you get to the end of the page through the LED camera and flick to the following page for you in a instance. For you gamers out there you can make use of Senseye by just looking in the desired direction and you’re away. Furthermore, it should also make smartphones for disabled people a lot easier to use.

Its a work in progress as I said initially and is being trialled out in a bulky eye-detecting camera case at the moment. However, don’t worry because they won’t all look like that. The company are hoping to implement the new technology into everyday smartphones through making use of the small, LED camera.

Could this be the future of smartphones?
