Soon as Tango sets off Microsoft will launch Apollo which is the latest update to Windows Phone.

We were expecting Apollo to arrive mid-2012 onto the market however we would be wrong in thinking that having heard about a leaked roadmap showing that it could be released in Q4 of next year aiming to target business and superphone users.

Windows Phone Apollo is likely to be called Windows Phone 8 bringing a whole load of new and nifty features to the smartphone. You heard me talking about superphones above which suggests that the new OS will be geared towards the rise in quard-core smartphones.

Read an exclusive interview with Niklas Savander, executive VP of Markets for Nokia on TechRadar.

Fingers crossed that we will find out more at next year’s Mobile World Congress.
