LG has launched the latest in its slim and shiny notebook line. The LG X Note Z330 is one little nipper. Along with being smaller than the average LBD this festive season, LG is claiming that it can cold boot up in under 10 seconds, making it a serious rival to the MacBook Air.
That’s some seriously fast get-up-and-go from the LG X-Note Z330. It also features some pretty decent specs and what LG hopes is outstanding performance. Read on to hear what else you know about LG’s latest laptop.
For a start, the LG X-Note Z330 is a very 13.3-inch laptop slim. There’s almost something MacBook Air-like about it. As dimensions go it measures just 14.7mm thin and weighs 1.21kg. What LG is calling ‘Narrow Bezel’ technology allows the laptop to be so skinny, and light. The screen itself measures 12-inches.
Specs-wise we’re looking at one version packing an Intel Core i5 processor with 4GB of RAM and a 120GB solid state drive (SSD).Using Intel’s Super Speed Tech enables the LG X-Note Z330 to boot up in just 9.9 seconds.
There’s also HDMI for hooking up to a high definition television and WiDi for streaming content wirelessly to HD TVs. This version is tipped to cost around $1,500 – so expect similar costing in British pounds should it arrive in the UK
A more powerful Intel Core i7 model with a 256GB SSD is expected to cost a lot more, although a UK release date and price have yet to be announced, so it’s worth keeping an eye on to determine of the LG X-Note Z330 is worthy of the extra spend.
As looks go, the LG X-Note Z330 certainly looks like one of the sexiest laptops going, and it looks like punters will be paying premium prices. Keep an eye on The Gadget Show for more soon.
