Hi there! The Daily Tech Review returns for a New Year and what better way to kick it off with CES 2013, the largest consumer electronics show in the world.
The convention comes all the way from Las Vegas hosted by the Consumer Electronics Association.
Over the week I will be sure to keep you updated with the latest releases.
It was open to the Press today and here what happened:
- Samsung announced that they will release a range of “tier one” smartphones this year.
- Haier announced a TV that uses only your eyes as a remote control. Amazing! It makes use of technology created by NeuroSky to use your own very eyes to change over to EastEnders. Voice controls are also offered.
- HP rolled out its brand new Envy 27 inch monitor carrying built-in Beats Audio speakers.
- Sony unveiled its 55 inch Ultra High-Definition televisions.
- Intel revealed their newly developed touch enabled Ultrabooks.
And finally,
- CEO of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer introduced the world to Windows 8’s Metro interface and amongst that announced upcoming apps for Fox, IGN and more.
Business opens up officially tomorrow.
