Sharp's £10K HD TV: 90-inch LED TV is the biggest in the world

Just when you thought TVs couldn’t get any more jaw-dropping, Sharp has unveiled a 90-inch full HD LED TV, taking the crown of the largest LED TV in the world in the process. The record-breaking Sharp LC-90LE745U is a monster in every sense, packing full HD, 3D support, and a range of Smart TV apps to boot. The 90-inch telly is available today. So, what do you get for nearly £10k worth of telly.

The Sharp LC-90LE745U offers a full 10-inches more than its previously oversized set. As you’d expect for the price, you get a full high definition1080p LED backlit display with an 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and 240 Hz refresh rates powered by Sharp’s AQUOMOTION technology. All that means even the fastest Hollywood blockbuster scenes should look good enough to make your eyes water in excitement.

Interested parties and daydreamers can also expect Active 3D. Sharp claims that the LC-90LE745U doubles the resolution of standard passive 3D TVs to deliver more detail and brightness than your average 3D telly. Here you get two 3D glasses included in the bundle.

The Sharp’s LC-90LE745U will also let you browse the web using its built-in Wi-Fi, and entertain yourself with its many Smart TV apps and on-demand services such as LOVEFiLM and Netflix. An Ethernet port is also included for wired internet connections.

A nice collection of inputs offer decent connectivity. You get 2 USB inputs, 4 HDMI for so you can plug in a Blu-ray player, PS3 and Xbox 360 and still have room to spare for the Nintendo Wii U once it hits the shops.
