LOVEFiLM and Twentieth Century Fox team up to bring us some TV and Film exclusives

Lovefilm and Twentieth Century Fox pair for exclusive movie and TV shows

LOVEFiLM has just signed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox to bring us some more exclusive TV shows and films including classic hits such as Sons of Anarchy, 24 and Prison Break.

This new deal is one of many with Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, Disney and NBC also signing up to be part of on demand TV and film website, LOVEFiLM.com.

The new deal brings some of the most popular TV series from the US right to us in the UK. It all kicks off in July with early and exclusive viewings coming from Sons of Anarchy, 24, classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and a bit of Angel.

Correct, that’s just the TV stuff the films are on their way later on in the year.

This is what Jim Buckle, MD of LOVEFiLM had to say about the news:

“This partnership will give Lovefilm members access to the studio’s huge range of recent movies and the opportunity to revisit some of the best American TV series produced in recent years.”

Streaming is getting bigger – nobody wants to own hard copies anymore and services such as LOVEFiLM show this. Also, people no longer just watch TV on a box now desktop PCs, laptops, netbooks, Ultrabooks and tablets have all changed that. How do you watch the latest blockbusters? Tell us in ‘Comments’.
