Its here! The Google Nexus 7 tablet is out

Google Nexus 7 tablet unveiled: What you need to know!

Google has revealed their latest tablet to take on Apple’s iPad and its called the Nexus 7. It comes with a 1.3GHz Tegra 3 processor and extra connectivity options than the iPad. Plus it comes loaded with the brand new Android OS, Jellybean. Prices start from £159, way cheaper than what you pay for an Apple tablet! Even better, you can order it right now.

After months of rumours we finally have it, its cheap and feature packed. Apple better watch out, the ASUS Google Nexus 7 may just win a few over. Unless you’re a loyal Apple fan what would be the point of splashing out on hundreds of pounds for Google’s equivalent starting off at just £159for an 8GB one, rising up to £199 for a 16GB model. Both can be ordered right now from Google Play for home-delivery in around 2 weeks time. Plus, both tablets come with a 7-inch backlit IPS display holding a 1280x800 resolution.

Inside the tablet comes a 1.3GHz Tegra 3 processor and a 1GB of RAM for better performance. Also, don’t worry about juice because ASUS claims you have up to 8 hours.

It only comes with a front-facing camera however apparently that is the future. However, you will still be able to make those video calls.

Jelly Bean

Jellybean is basically an updated edition of the Android OS to perform even faster. Plus, its future proof with NFC built in.
