HP are to stream gigs to Windows 8

  • Free access to Universal’s back catalogue for 90 days.

HP have announced that they are joining up with Universal to bring live gigs to all people who buy one of their new Windows 8 devices.

The new partnership will go to all HP’s new Windows 8 line-up.

Areas covered are Europe, the Middle East and Africa and will appear on all of HP’s Windows 8 laptops, tablets, PCs and Ultrabooks. An exclusive performance from No Doubt will take place today. As well as providing live music consumers with a new HP Windows 8 device will be able to receive free access to Universal’s back catalogue for 90 days.

Also, if you have bought a Windows 8 HP Spectre or HP Envy PC you are entitled to 10 free MP£ downloads per month for a total of three months.

The Music experience doesn’t stop there

Through this new deal HP will also be offering users chances to win trips to private gigs as well as the chance to listen to other exclusive content from Universal including artists like Robbie Williams, Pixie Lott, Maroon 5, Drake and Frank Ocean.

HP in the past have teamed up with Dr Dre’s Beats to improve audio playback on their devices.
