- According to sources at TechCrunch users will be able to listen to their favourite tunes through Spotify on their web browser.
- This could also bring with it a drop in the Premium price.
- Unfortunately, with this latest statement comes a few pros and cons though – one pro being not asking your boss if you can download Spotify. And one con being you need an Internet connection to open it. See more below.
Spotify is one of the most popular on-demand streaming services and in the next few months it is just about to get that bit bigger. Sources from TechCrunch have speculated that we could see Spotify play in the web browser instead of only using it through a downloaded application. Its available on smartphones, PC and Mac and now its just about to become available in your web browser as well.
The good is that the company may also announce a drop in Premium prices if users opt for the online version. Also, users will never have to download another annoying Spotify update. PLUS, a high-spec smartphone can also enjoy listening to the music client on your phone out and about. The bad is though that you need an Internet connection to open up the webpage.
Spotify is getting bigger by the year and we are witnessing it. What do you think, would you like Spotify in your web browser?
