The Google Nexus 7 is an Android tablet designed by firm, ASUS and bounces on the market very soon making it one if not the cheapest tablet we have seen storming in at £159. However, there is one feature that it doesn’t include and that is a 3G connection.

According to a new report posted on MoDaCo smartphone forum though, founder Paul O’Brien explains that he has heard reports that 3G is planned for the Google Nexus 7 and that the tablet is expecting to be released in the next six weeks making it a perfect Christmas present.

Do we believe Paul O’Brien or not?

There are no reports set in stone that confirm the Google Nexus 7 will include 3G technology however Paul O’Brien seems pretty sure. He’s got a good reputation for these sort of rumours and with the addition of 3G it could just make this tablet a perfect buy.

Would you still be interested in the Google Nexus 7 if it didn’t include 3G? Let us know in ‘Comments’.
