BBC iPlayer is one of the most popular on-demand sources and its getting even bigger with the ability for users to download their favourite shows and films in advance to watch on the move. In the past we have all been able to watch BBC iPlayer on our smartphones with a stable, internet connection however we have never been able to download shows before. This is all about to change.
Users will be able to download their favourite programmes in advance over a Wi-Fi connection and watch them on the plane, on the train, in the car or basically wherever you want!
Its out today but only for Apple devices at the moment including the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. An update is also on its way for Android devices, unfortunately though there is still no word on an app for Windows Phone.
So, if you own an Apple device or even an Android one there is no excuse to miss another episode of EastEnders!
