On-Demand content is the thing these days with BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD, Channel 5 on Demand, Netflix, LOVEFiLM and so on meaning Roku aren’t missing out!
On the way are two players called the Roku LT and Roku 2 XS both packing in 40 channels and coming in at £49.99 and £99.99, not to expensive for what you’re getting. They will in addition all feature brand new to the platform, BBC iPlayer.
It won’t just be TV shows that users will be able to catch-up on with Netflix also providing films and programmes plus games will be available including Angry Birds and PAC-MAN. This also includes a free movie service called Crackle bringing your hundreds of Hollywood blockbusters to kill time with.
Both boxes sport HD TVs and deliver content in stunning 720p. However, the two will also work just as well on standard televisions.
If you want a brand new TV box then this one might just be for you.
