HTC has stepped it up at MWC 2012 by unveiling the HTC One X – one of the most exciting Android phones to date. The HTC One X is both incredibly fast and slick. It has a quad-core 1.5GHz Tegra 3 processor, shoots full HD video and a whopping 32GB of of storage. Those are just some of the talents. Read on for the rest.

As the world’s phone-makers attempt to outdo each other, HTC has pulled the proverbial bunny out of the hat with this one. The HTC One X is a sexy polycarbonate phone that looks solid, but is light, and has a smooth curve to its design that HTC says feels great in the hand. The display is a 4.7-inch Super LCD 2 display constructed from Gorilla Glass.

The specs ain’t bad either. As we’ve mentioned, a quad-core 1.5GHz Tegra 3 processor will have no trouble multitasking, switching between apps, or playing the latest mobile games. Web browsing should be a breeze. A 32GB storage and 25GB of free Dropbox for two years in addition should give owners plenty of room to play around with.

The HTC One X also has Beats by Dre audio built in. So expect plenty of top-quality banging bass and hi-fi-quality sound from your earphones. The HTC One X will also pack the latest Android 4.0 operating system, and an updated version of its HTC Sense interface giving owners easier access to their favourite apps and notifications.

Photo-wise we’re talking an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 lens capable of capturing great shots in low-light conditions, LED flash, autofocus and full HD (1080p) video shooting. Even the front-facing 1.3-megapixel is capable of HD (720p) video chat.
