Windows Phone 8’s exciting future has LEAKED onto the web

A promotional video featuring Windows Phone product manager, Joe Belifore has made its way onto the Internet. The new OS certainly plans to take on competitors such as Apple and Android through many new features include multi-core processors and larger sized resolutions.

The promotional video was initially only targeted at Nokia employees however this now doesn’t seem to be the case. Plus, the video also showed that a handful of Windows Phone 8 features (dubbed Windows Apollo) could find their way onto the new Nokia Lumia 910 including the ‘rumoured’ 12Mp camera’.

Also, NFC is being thrown about into the new OS allowing you to buy low cost items without the use of cash or credit/debit card.

Apps are furthermore being taken into consideration with the addition of thousands of new Windows Phone 8 apps expected to cause friction with the other guys.

Now, who likes to manually sync music? Isn’t that just time consuming, hmm. Microsoft seem to think so from the examples given from Beilfore being able to get your music on your smartphone without even using ActiveSync.

It doesn’t stop there because Windows Phone 8 will also support SD card storage, something that isn’t currently available in the featured Nokia Lumia 800. This means that Microsoft are going to get one over on Apple through extra card storage.

More I’m sure is expected to be unleashed at the Mobile Word Congress held in Barcelona next month.
