Browse the Internet for free in your local supermarket.
Four lucky stores across the UK are getting the benefit of free Wi-Fi.
Mike McNamara, acting chief information officer says if the current tests prove to be successful the service will be put out to the 2,700 UK stores. He went on to add that if customers were to abuse the free Wi-Fi access it would then be removed.
What’s my view?
I don’t really see the point in this to be honest. Tesco is a supermarket, you go there to shop and come home. What you don’t go there to do is watch YouTube on your smartphone but surely the thought of free Wi-Fi is going to encourage this.
