BlackBerry 9930 smartphone on its way

Now put on US network’s Verizon’s website it can’t be long before the release of the BlackBerry Bold 9930  comes to the UK.

BlackBerry fans listen up earlier this year we announced the arrival of two new Bold smartphones and now the 9930 is hopefully coming soon to the UK. Read on for the details.

The new and improved smartphone will feature a full qwerty keyboard, touchscreen technology featuring pinch to zoom which is already featured on the iPhone 4 and Android smartphones. Along with that the Bold 9930 will come loaded with 1.2GHz processing power and a 2.8 inch touchscreen. Also, BlackBerry are giving you 8GB of integrated storage with support of 32GB of external memory through the purchase of a small microSD card.

All that’s left to do is wait for the UK release. Prices yet to be announced.

What’s my view?

Looks and sounds good. Its certainly a step up from the previous BlackBerry Bolds featuring pricy 1.2GHz processor and the boasted new addition of touchscreen technology to the Bold. It certainly offers high specs but the question is will people settle for such a small screen.
