A new operating system has landed…its called iOS7

Apple have just announced a whole new look and feel to how we use an Apple device and that is with the brand new operating system expected to launch later this year.

If you own an iPhone 4, 4S, iPhone 5 or an iPad 2, iPad 3rd and 4th generation, the iPad mini and the iPod touch fifth generation you’ve just qualified for an update.

iOS7 brings new icons, redesigned and fresh wallpapers. Also, the birth of animated screens.

Control the phone with the new control panel. Its translucent screen will allow you to access music player and adjust the screen brightness plus more.

Siri has also been updated with a new interface, new services to provide new answers to your demanding questions. Siri can furthermore control the brightness of your screen. Plus, there is a new voice of the Apple Speech Recognition assistant.

The notification centre has also had a change. Its been rebuilt and will now provide daily information in one hub on birthdays, weather and upcoming events. Also, dismiss a notification on your iPhone it will cancel it out on your iPad. It will also now appear on the lock screen.

The camera has had a facelift now with four modes – regular stills and video, square photos with added colour effects and panorama views.

cameraThe app itself has been updated automatically sorting your photos based on when and where you took them.

Elsewhere, Safari now features a 3D user interface for when switching tabs plus there is now no limit whatsoever – have as many tabs open as you like. Plus two search boxes – one for URLS and the other for keywords.

The Apple browser will also have the ability to tell what tabs are open on your other devices plus iCloud password integration meaning you can now sync your passwords and payment card information seamlessly across your Apple devices.

The App store itself has also had a refresh – you no longer need to manually updates apps. Plus, stealing the feature from Windows Apple will now suggest to you applications you may like based on the location of your device.

There’s plenty more stuff as well including something called VoIP calling (basically Facetime but without the video).

Air Drop also landed which is basically their answer to NFC. Share with other Apple devices information, music and more.

Lastly, how you listen to music has also been changed. iOS7 introduces iTunes Radio (basically Spotify) with ads. Also available on Macs, PC and Apple TV if your like.
